SQ to resume YVR

YVR was suspended in 2009 and flights were routed via ICN then (as SQ17/18). New seasonal services (SQ27/28/29) will be non-stop and continue on to SEA:

Hum - that is great - however the seasonal schedule is very short - Dec-mid Feb - currently no award seats on the route.

I was waitlisted for MEL-SIN-YVR on multiple dates, they sent me an email saying I was moved to the waitlist for SEA. Not really the same thing. We have been using this flight quite a bit and was hoping to get a booking to use up my expiring points. No idea what I will do now as seats on United seem very hard to get in business.
