I am booked on SQ 212 SYD to SIN in FEB this year, traveling in F on a redemption ticket.

When I made the booking, the aircraft was Boeing 777-300

Now when I search the SQ website on SQ212, the plane is showing as a Boeing 777-300ER.

SQ have two seperate configurations on their 777-300ERs, being 3 class or 4 class configuration with PE included.

I am keen to know which F product will be onboard for my flight.

Does anybody know how I can go about finding this out?

Thanks in advance.

Do a search to see if you can purchase a comm PE tix - if it shows up then it will be 4 class WN - if not will be 77W - quick check on 12/2 shows no PE on 212.

F on 77W identical to F on 773 except 77W has no o/h bins and cabin on 773 slightly bigger. If it 77WN you have cracked Nes F - you will love this product.

Thanks Cruiser Elite, great idea.
I checked the flights and no PE seats showing up on my dates, so must be the old F product on the 3 class configuration. Looking forward to enjoying some nice DP & K bubbles along with that great SQ hospitality once again.

Your 1st SQ F exp R36? 212 will see you arrive SIN at ~14:15 - you can have an exp in TPR if you want - holding an F BP means you can enjoy arrival access in TPR - tell girls on entry a little fib along lines your partner arriving on another airline from another country and you have to meet them at say 17:00 or so to travel down town together to your hotel - it will be all cool.

Hi Cruiser, I was lucky enough to fly SYD to HKK via SIN with SQ in suites in November 2014, which was amazing.
For this trip I end up in BKK, so will have 90 minutes to wait in SIN, so I will try and visit the TPR. I am flying on to BKK with SQ in J, they do not offer F on the SIN to BKK route.
On the way back, I stay overnight in SIN and am on the 9:40am flight back to SYD (SQ211), so I am looking forward to having breakfast in TPR.

Ok that is a pretty good itinerary - yes you can access TPR on arr and pre BKK dep. With your o/n in SIN you get to exp F check in - you gotta love that then eggs benno and PH Rare in TPR pre dep to SYD - can't beat that!

That is exactly what I will have for breakfast Cruiser :)
Normally when I go to BKK, i fly direct with either EK or QF but their J products leave a bit to be desired. As this is a part business / part personal trip, I thought I would burn a few points and treat myself to some SQ comfort and service.

Cruiser/brains trust – I actually will be waiting for my parents to arrive on Saturday morning into SIN, as I'll be coming in on an early J flight from IST – what are my odds they'll be cool with me using the J SKL on arrival?

You will be arr SIN on SQ? TBH I have no idea if arr access permitted in J - never tried or asked - worst thing that can happen is they say sorry NO. Do you have Priority Pass? If no access to SKL at least you can have a shower in a PP lounge. If you are looking for western breakfast Hard Rock Café prolly best bet - have fun.

That gives me hope! The written policy says 'departing', but you could read it as though PPS Club members have to be "departing on SQ operated flights", while any "Suites, First or Business Class passenger" just has access. Interesting interpretation? ;)

You can enjoy access to our lounges if you are our Suites, First or Business Class passenger, or PPS Club members departing on Singapore Airlines operated flights.

Regardless, I'll try and find out!

No PP membership, and don't think I've ever struggled to kill time at SIN (even before my lounging days) so I should be okay. Have *G too, but no arrivals access there.
