I am not sure RJ flies to/from HKG those nights. Certainly confusing since RJ stopped BKK-KUL tag flights.

And also may not connect to QF128?

I plugged your dates - 4th to 16th. Flight times RJ183 2135-2325, but dun connect on the way back (RJ182 1615-2005).

Hong Kong airlines departs HKG 2230, but wouldn't connect on the way back with a 1505-1850 time (there is an earlier flight getting in at 1210).

(It's a cracker of a business class far on HK airlines though - they have some pretty cheap flights throughout Asia including connections from China to Bali and Bangkok. I'll be using them this year - cheaper than economy on some other airlines)

No idea. Looking for it the other day and BKK-KUL return in economy was coming up at ~THB45,000 via AMM.

Depends on how long you have. There are several major chain hotels downtown. Closer to the airport is the Taj Airport Garden. If you are flying UL-UL they will provide a hotel for you.

Otherwise rather than downtown, many would head to Negambo (beach).

Transfer arranged both ways, breakfast and lunch. Checkout at 3:00 pm

will be arriving at Male at 7:30pm and the return flight at 1030pm.. do i have to go thru custom or can i just go to the transit desk or should i get the return boarding pass when i check in from KUL..

MLE is a very small airport (on an island all its own), don't think there is a transfer desk (where would you transfer to?).

I'd expect to go through immigration, but you might be lucky...

There is no transfer desk. You exit the airport from a shed with immigration and luggage collection.

You will have to enter the country then check back in and exit again.

How does one get the free UL hotel room if flying J and with a long connection at CMB - and how long is sufficiently long to qualify?
