Stayed here on a corp rate as an SPG Platinum a few weeks ago, mid May 2015. Booked a Plunge Pool Suite and got upgraded to a one bedroom Lagoon Villa (wowza).

We arrived at the St Regis Bali Nusa Dua just after noon, having been picked up by the St Regis car service from the Le Meridien Jimbaran where we had spent the previous night. The St Regis Bali now offers complimentary airport/destination transfer to and from the airport as a part of all room rates.

Upon our arrival, we were seated on a couch near the concierge desk to process our check-in. The following SPG Platinum amenities are offered at the St Regis Bali:

  • 500 Starpoints
  • One time Signature Bali Mary at King Cole Bar for two persons
  • One time 30 minute reflexology massage for two persons
I chose the 30 minute reflexology for two as I deemed it to be a higher value than 500 Starpoints.

I highly recommend the afternoon tea at the King Cole Bar.

Below are some pics.

At the conclusion of our stay, we utilised the complimentary transfer back to Denpasar (DPS) airport’s domestic terminal as we were continuing our journey to Jakarta (CGK). Not only did the driver promptly and professionally get us there, but he also escorted us to the check-in area, stayed with us while we waited for our tickets, and helped us with our bags all the way to security!

I had an extremely enjoyable stay at the St Regis Bali Nusa Dua and absolutely recommend this property to anyone considering a resort-style stay in Bali. Due Bali’s close proximity to Australia, and the St Regis Nusa Dua’s close proximity to Denpasar airport, it is definitely achievable to flee the country for a quick weekend getaway to excessive luxury.

A more verbose detailing of my stay can be found here (with some additional photos).

Looks like a very very nice intimate resort but as a W-kind-of-guy, we stay at the W Seminyak.

The St Regis doesn't really capture my attention (maybe I am not it's in target age market) but I might check out this St Regis one day, if staying on a weekday that is :p

hahaha, what do you think their target age market is? I am a young person and can't stand some of the W's pathetic attempts at making some of their properties "trendy." It's a shame I didn't check out the W Seminyak when I was there, as it would have been nice to benchmark against the St Regis Bali.

As a 33 year old I think St Regis bali is just sublime. I absolutely love it.

I agree with those comments, there are some W's (especially the legacy W's in the USA) that completely suck and I would not go near. Then there are the newer W's that are completely awesome (thinking aloud W Hong Kong, W Barcelona, W Leicester Square, W Paris, and the W Seminyak I mentioned), no doubt there are more in the system that I haven't been to but are just as awesome.

Just remember that the St Regis Bali is often asking double the rate of the W Seminyak, so you need to adjust your expectation just a little ;)

No doubt that the resort is sublime ;) For that hotel branding, it's price point in a developing country, it needs to be sublime - there are quite a few higher end properties competing.
