It really does vary from staff member to staff member as to how many packets you can get each time.

The checkout operator didn't want to give me any yesterday as her box was empty. I asked whether every register was out of stock and reluctantly she went to another register to get some dominoes for me.

Having to walk all that way is such a chore.

Tomorrow we should have two full sets :)

Did anyone realise that the same face side can have different numbers on the back? So a "set" may not be playable as dominos per se

I noticed that a few weeks ago and I was quite surprised at it. I thought that the full set of 44 would be a usable set of dominoes. I was hoping to use the set to play a normal game, especially as one of the cases has the rules to dominoes on the packaging. I guess that means there are some people chasing every variety of domino and there are hundreds more than just the initial 44. How many different variations of each character are there? I don't really care but I'm sure there are people out there keeping track of all the variations.
