Start using those hoarded express cards

When I was at SYD last week, I showed my Express Card to use the Priority Immigration and then they took it off me as I entered Priority Security.

In MEL immigration is after security and whilst I do use the express lane I have never been asked for the Express Card.

I doubt you watch Glee, but there is a quote from there which reminds me of you (of maybe who you wish to be TonyHancock)

I contacted the Secretary of State advising her I will no longer be carrying Photo Identification. Why?

People Should know who I am.

Maybe that's why you never get asked.

I've got a couple of inbound cards tucked away somewhere.

I've found in Syd, outside the morning peak say 6-10am when all the overnight flights from Asia and North America arrive, queues are minimal.

I have heaps of them, both in/outbound - BNE have not had a Q the times I have gone out so I have saved it for later

If anyone has just toooooooooo many express cards for MEL, I'd be happy to take up to 4 off your hands! Will be flying out of MEL with my partner on boxing day, and again on Feb 29 - both QF flights if that makes a difference :) (of course happy to cover postage etc)

On a side note, I have a couple of unused LHR express cards saved from a BA J flight (valid for T3&T5), and I was going to give them to a friend who will be flying into London during the Olympics (where the lines will be considerably longer)... they will be arriving into T3, but flying on Emirates... will the UK border staff actually check that the passes match the airline on the BP, or do they just check that the pass is valid for the terminal etc? :)
