Status Credit (SC) run Ex-SYD - help with suggestions please

The multicity engine does not like you having too many flights in the one day (its somewhat anti Frequent Flyer ironically) and will only allow two legs, the trick is to put subsequent legs the day after, and when it gets to the flight selection, change it back to same day, which is how I got the booking above. Also keep in mind with JASAs etc your chances are better on work days when there are more flight options.

Great tip !

One of my variations stops after flight #4 (BNE - CBR).

It then greys out the date of the return flight to SYD even though CBR arrival is only 1700 i.e. it forces me to stay in CBR for a night !!

Another technical tip from the Master, please.

There are still 2-3 flights left after 1700 (CBR - SYD) so I am not sure why the system greys out the option of returning to SYD on the same date.

I am still looking for that 220 SCs mark, 200 SCs easy to do but adding that extra 20 is an issue at the moment as I'd like to complete this in one day instead of another short run on a separate day.

On a related note, the SC calculator only distinguishes "discount Y" and "Y" (DOM flights here - Y+ is n/a) but ASA flights often has 3 separate levels "Red e-deal", "Flexi Saver" and "Fully Flexible".

Is the SC return from Flexi Saver the same or worse than that of Fully Flexible ?

In other words, is it worth the extra points ?

Thanks

Flexi Saver and Fully Flexible are both classed as economy so will earn the same SCs.

But that would mean he would have to do 22 flights or 11 return trips to make up the 220SC he's looking for... And at a monetary cost of at least $1650!

You miss the point.

OP was missing 20 from the calc they had prepared. This was a top up arrangement to get them to 220.

Btw your maths are fine!
