Hi all,

I returned from SIN yesterday on SQ and, by doing that, finally crossed the 1000 SC Platinum threshold. Those appeared in my account today (the exact number is 1028).
Now, I remember from when I was promoted to Gold that the status update could register several days later. However, I'm flying MEL-SYD-AKL-MEL this Mon/Tue, which would be healthy 70 SCs. I would really like those to count towards the 800 SCs required to renew Platinum for the next year. Now, I'm afraid these could be "wasted".

Is there a way to prevent this from happening?

Thanks!

There were issues in the early days that required intervention to fix, but not so mant reports these days.

In any case, the problems were generally fixed with a telephone call.

I would hang onto the BP's and etickets until such time as you get the flights correctly posted (along with correct points earn with the WP bonus).

Thank you guys, just called them and got it sorted in a sec. So the new SCs will accrue towards the next year status. Only pity SYD-AKL and AKL-MEL are operated by Air New Zealand, so can't request free upgrade...

I had a similar issue where points posted out of order and due to a status upgrade to gold in the middle involved I "lost" a couple of hundred SCs that would have counted towards requalification

Filled in the online form and the SCs were manually adjusted

Turns out I'm going to hit platinum anyway so in hindsight that was redundant :)
