Status Credits awarded for Syd-Bri-VLI

Looking at booking on Virgin for SYD to Port Vila which transits via Brisbane.
Trying to work out the Status Credits I would earn on a Discount Economy / Gateway fare.
I would be booking under 1 ticket and not 2 seperate PNR's

I've found the table on the Velocity website which shows S/C earn for International Short Haul with Domestic flights flown as part of an international journey flown from 30 January 2017.

Is this how I should calculate the SC earn for the 1 way trip ?
Syd - Bri (zone 1) = 10 s/c
Bri to Port Vila (Zone 2) = 15 s/c
Total 25 s/c earn

Or Syd to Port Vila via Brisbane (zone 3) = 20 s/c

I would expect 10 + 15 = 25SC. You are awarded SC for individual flights.
