Status credits for virgin Atlantic flights operated by delta

Gday all.

Recently started a job in Africa and will be travelling in and out of the US instead of aus shortly

I was velocity gold and then it lapsed. And unfortunately due to my employer not putting my velocity FF in and using a KrisFlyer number instead I missed out on a few lots of SC.

I want to make sure I’m utilising my work flights to the best of my ability and get my gold status back.

Can anyone tell me if I flew from LA - Paris with a virgin Atlantic flight operated by delta wether I’d be eligible for status credits. It is a VS coded flight.

No, as per the terms and conditions you cannot earn on flights operated by anyone other than Virgin Atlantic (VS code VS metal) or Virgin Australia (VS code VA metal). You might be better joining either the Delta or Virgin Atlantic programs depending on your pattern.
