Gooday all,
I thought I saw this mentioned somewhere, but for some reason can't find it anywhere. I imagine there are many in my situation however. I have gold status with QF expiring in Feb 2022, and I'm located in the UK.
Travel over the next 12 months is uncertain at the very best, particularly for us here in the UK. Furthermore, with the hard-line stance of the Australian government, the prospect of visiting Australia and taking the 4 required QF metal flights this year is fading pretty quickly.
Does anyone know if QF is considering status extensions again? I actually think they were generous with the first lot, which I really appreciated, however, the situation is arguably worse now than March 2020. I know travel in Australia domestically has come back to about 50% of previous levels, but that doesn't help us.
Secondly, are there any current provisions for overseas residents with regards to being credited extra status credits over the next few months?
Thanks
