Sorry if this is an extremely basic question. But what is actually meant by a break from paid employment.
Ie if my workplace pays me parental leave for 20 weeks, or half pay over 40 weeks, is this considered a break from paid employment, as I am not working?
Or do they consider it, as being paid?
As the next level would be, given the Fed govt now pays parental leave (which I wont be eligible for ) does that mean, if any payment is paid employment, that no one these days is eligible?
