Can someone help out a friend of mine with a SC question that I've got no idea what the answer is - he is going on a group booking (class G) and wants to know if he gets -
a) no status credits
b) discount economy status credits
c) normal economy status credits

BTW the posting of the double SC's seems to have fallen quiet a bit behind.

Many thanks Serfty - He will be glad to know that he's getting something for his flying.

I've just taken my first booked flight post 7th July.
I selected a flexi-saver ticket as it wasn't much more than red-e. And it has just posted as the x2 vs red-e for SC earn. So I'm very happy to say that now for not much more, we get to double our SC earn. I guess Qantas are happy as they are earning more revenue per pax for the same seat. And I suspect the actual extra SC earn is next to nothing for Qantas (though may be more people using the Qantas Pub). But if anything like myself, once the SC earn sickness kicks in, it's a hard habbit to kick, so Qantas pick up more paying pax.

And on top of this ... the double SC promo just makes it all even better.
