Status Upgraded in Account but not on Future Bookings

How long have you been waiting? It usually takes a few weeks.

A week but Im flying before it will arrive and want this gold nonsense on seat selection sorted out before I fly.

Not even long enough to print the card. We fly out the day we requalify and just have to roll with it. But I do understand the issues that you are seeing with status not showing on bookings but BP or equivalent should be correct.

Thats just it, despite being WP and seeing this on digital card, both the digital BP and printed BP also still showed only gold when I flew on Sunday.

When I click on seat selection for all future bookings (where I had previously selected seats whilst gold), it saud Gold Frequent Flyer and so I cant see the better WP seats. As gold I wasn't able to select J mini cabin on the A380 and so was hoping once WP I could. So i need this resolved so my future bookings correctly show my status and give me access to better seats; not to mention id prefer the correct status on my BP so dont have to argue with lounge dragons or fish out a physical card (some overseas places dont accept the digital card).

Clearly there is an IT glitch where status has not flowed through to the future bookings and I need it to be unglitched, I cant rely on the seats I want being available at the airport, Id rather select now months out from travel before someone else grabs them.

Tried to call a few times yesterday but had to hang up because wait time for premium was too long.

Am on with Hobart now (worth waiting 10 mins), agent agrees it is weird that seat selection is stuck on Gold, she tried to remove and reallocate seat so it would pick-up Platinum status with no joy. I'm on hold while she speaks with someone else in FF area.

Update: 20mins and she is still trying to et through to someone who can work out what is going on. She tried removing my FF# and readding, that did not fix it.

Arggg so whilst on phone was told bookings have updated to reflect Platinum, in the app I could change the seat on one flight (the next one), but when I try to go into other upcoming bookings I get an error saying not available right now.

And when I go into my account on the Website I have no bookings showing, why does everything have to be so difficult?

Using the PNRs (thank goodness i keep meticulous records) I could go into each booking and select better seats, so Im confident that my BPs should now also have the correct status. But if the flights aren't showing online or int he app when logged in I suspect I wont easily be able to check in online.

I'll give a few more hours to see if it rights itself (ive cleared all cookies and browsing history) otherwise will have to call again.
