Had some Kippers in the LHR BA T4 Arrivals lounge last month. A bit overcooked for my liking, but OK. 8)

Kippers don't need to be cooked. The kipperring process (smoking) cures the fish so they should only need to be heated to the points of melting the butter on the bread 8) .

A shame about the posts removed on 25/5/2002! You get the general drift of the thread but miss a lot of the juicy bits. I gather from the 'was' that Merry does not frequent FT anymore.

For the record I do not like a fish meal at the best of times least of all served on an aircraft!
