Stranded by Vietnam Airlines

Currently stranded at Paris CDG by Vietnam Airlines.
Flight VN10 cancelled but they did not advise us.
No-one at their check-in counter.
Let us know how it goes :(

Is there a sky team desk anywhere?

You have protection from EU261, at the very least this includes immediate care and assistance (food etc), and you may also have rerouting and compensation due… unless the reason for the delay or cancellation is deemed ‘extraordinary’. That may include things like ATC strikes.

Edited to add: VN10 is showing delayed with an estimated departure time of 5pm, from the original 135pm. The OP may be in the air!?

You may be eligible for €600 compensation, depending on your full itinerary.

Thank you. Sky Team were great but it took hours to get info and accommodation. Vietnam Airlines of zero assistance. Didn't seem to know their own flight was cancelled. Have to return to airport today to check-in for a new flight leaving at 5pm. Had to change separate connections in Australia and hotels.

Update: Back at CDG hoping to board VN10 at 5pm today. I have to get connection boarding passes at Ho Chi Minh airport as the Sky team advised. Wish me luck!!
