May I ask what's "TU"?
Probably Transunion which was mentioned in the same paragraph.

Thank you. Did you use the 5 day or 3 day package? I'm thinking about concerns I might have with tracking and delivery.
I'm not sure if they'll have access to your records if you're no longer a card holder? I also recall someone mentioning that you need to have your card for at least 1 year before GTing. Best to search upthread for more info.
Just wanted to share a data point for peeps here, I've got my first AmEx (US) card end of March 2022, so a fairly short credit history and a 720 credit score. Got an LLC, EIN and ITIN as well.
I applied for the Chase Ink Cash card with the current 90k points offer end of Nov last year and after a couple rounds of asking for recon got approved for $3k.
I made the move start of Jan and applied for the Sapphire Preferred card to for the points transfer options, got denied after a couple days, asked for a recon, got denied again, asked for a recon again and got denied in 2 days, then after a week called again and asked for a another recon explaining that I got the hard pulls (I got 4 total HPs which was even odd to the agent) and it'd be disappointing to get denied.
Aaaaannnd, I just got the approval email this morning!
Got a $5k limit which is the minimum for CSP and not huge but with my short history and no bank accounts with Chase, it's still good.
So if you get denied with Chase, don't get discouraged, try again a couple more times, it's still possible to get approved.
Woops. Silly me!Probably Transunion which was mentioned in the same paragraph.
Hi Nomad,
How long did you have to wait before your FICO score appeared on your AMEX account ?
(I got my AMEX Aspire card in June 2022)

Has anyone here applied for and got approved for the AMEX personal checking and/or savings accounts ? If so, how was the process ?
(I know an ITIN is needed )
What is the advantage of having a LLC and EIN?Just wanted to share a data point for peeps here, I've got my first AmEx (US) card end of March 2022, so a fairly short credit history and a 720 credit score. Got an LLC, EIN and ITIN as well.

Yup, still waiting for my Fico score, and yes, i have been using the card every month since last June. Hopefully i will get the score next month.Woops. Silly me!
Are you still waiting for your FICO score? Have you been using the card every month? I recall some advice on here that it's recommended that you spend a small amount every month and pay it off so it helps your credit score.
Business credit cards. What is the advantage of having a LLC and EIN?
I applied for my ITIN last week (so I guess I need wait 4 months now) and my HSBC US account is being setup as we speak.
Note that you don't need an LLC and EIN to apply for US business credit cards. One of the big advantages vis-a-vis Australian business cards, which require an ABN. In the US, most people apply as a sole prop. But probably a bit easier to apply with a LLC and EIN if you don't have a SSN.Business credit cards.
Would it be possible to apply as a sole prop with an ITIN?Note that you don't need an LLC and EIN to apply for US business credit cards. I don't have personal experience, but I believe the answer is yes. From what I've read, you simply fill it out as a sole prop and put your ITIN where it asks for SSN.Would it be possible to apply as a sole prop with an ITIN?
I’ve applied through there as well!Just applied for the ITIN via fiverr so lets see if it's a big scam haha.
It's Transunion.May I ask what's "TU"?
Also a question for you and others, most people recommend having 1Y credit score/credit profile(?) before applying for CSP, does anyone know whether we can link our ITINs to our existing amex records and have the credit score backdated?
I got a business checking account with AmEx to get their SUB mid last year, I remember I used my EIN and ITIN both on the application.Hi Nomad,

Yeah I also think it should be possible. In case of Chase you may need to show them some invoices or other business transactions to prove you have a business (less likely if you have a good score and a couple years of credit history)I don't have personal experience, but I believe the answer is yes. From what I've read, you simply fill it out as a sole prop and put your ITIN where it asks for SSN.
If you got the AmEx US app on your phone, you should be able to see your Fico score history under your "Fico Score" tab under "Financial Tools" bottom of the app on your "Account"In that case would it be preferrable to apply for Business CCs with an ITIN or EIN + LLC?
It sounds like EIN + LLC bypasses the scruitiny.
Edit: Does anyone know where I can locate previous month's fico score?

For a business card, my impression is it's perhaps a little easier convincing banks that you have a real business if it's operating under an LLC with an EIN. It's not a requirement though and you should be able to apply under Sole Prop as well with your SSN/ITIN
I guess every occasion is different but I had the same issue - following advice on this thread I just gave them a call and they just wanted me to verbally confirm my address . Approved instantly and card issued whilst I was on the phoneI just tried to apply through a referal link for the gold card with 90k points. Everything going well, I used my talkatone number and my MyUS address, however, they need to confirm my address in the US. How did everyone go about doing that? Or have I stuffed up?
