Has anyone opened an Amex checking account recently? Asking for a state ID for verification.

Want to apply for ABG so thinking it might be handy to Amex checking for verification before applying?

I applied last year in Sep and no ID check - how long have you been with Amex - if less than 3 months may need to wait 3 months to count as Amex using internal ID

Applied and approved for APG today with a 90k referral offer after searching through a lot of referrals with "Up to 100k offer".

Just had to provide a different residential address as my MB has been classified as CMRA
