This could be because of 3rd card within year, I will try in May as I got my first card last year April.

I’ve been using the physical card in the majority of instances and ApplePay for smaller purchases (just paid for my coffee byApplePay).

I still find it strange that they flag ApplePay when tokenised payments should be much less prone to fraud than physical card payments

My CSP (not new card - got the card Nov 2024) got declined at terminal for just under $100. I used my Google Wallet. Called Chase, after verification process they said they needed to call my Tello number to verify me. I never receive the phone call. Called back. The 2nd agent said the same thing - to call my Tello. I still did not receive their phone call.

What is happening with this please? Cant they call my Tello? Anyone got the same problem - Chase rep cant call Tello number?

I use Tello. It must be a Chase specific thing. Amex has done this type of verification multiple times with me without any issues.

I was in PUJ for brilliant after the very first card I got back in 2023. Recently found a NLL link and I was able to bypass it after 2 yrs.
In my short journey of US Amx market I'm pretty sure no one definitely knows how to get out of PUJ.
Your best bet to bypass it to apply via NLL links. They may be risky but work. YMMV.
I got 3 Amex's approved in last one month so don't think velocity matters that much. 2MR earning card (for one I was in PUJ and other I already had before) and 1 Brilliant.
If you have an ITIN or SSN it will make things easier. Very hard to scale up via GT route.

not sure - I've got 5-6 cards using such links and have either got the SUB or have chat support confirm that I'll get the SUB once I hit the required spend.
My understanding is these links are usually targeted but few smart ones are able to hack these and make it available to larger public for use.
Other online chatter is they may have be issued by RAT (reward abuse team of amex) to weed out churners....
It has worked so far for me...

yeah don't hold back if you see a good offer.
Amex has been very aggressive this year with some great offers...
