Apparently people are getting confirmation email for welcome bonus within few days of qualifying DD followed by posting cash deposit within few couple of days of the email. From the Welcome Bonus T+C: “A Qualifying Direct Deposit is a single ACH transfer of $500 or more from an employer or the government for a paycheck, pension, government benefit (such as Social Security), or tax refund. The following are not Qualifying Direct Deposits: person to person transfers (P2P), demand deposit account to demand deposit account transfers (for example, from a checking account to another checking account), and deposits or ACH transfers not from an employer or the government (for example, online transfers or bank transfers) ….”.
So, a transfer from an employer or the government.
As this offer is relatively new, we won’t know for a while whether other ACH transfers can actually trigger the bonus (regardless of the T+C, or confirmation emails) as it will apparently take 8-12 weeks to post
Yeah it was just over 2 months. Hopefully it wont hurt me. Ill try again in 1 month which will be after 3 months from opening AUS card. It’s been suggested, upthread, to have at least a 3-month relationship with Amex AU before trying for GT. All good there?
You don’t have a passport? Or, is a US passport the issue?
Based on that, I might give it a tryApparently people are getting confirmation email for welcome bonus within few days of qualifying DD followed by posting cash deposit within few couple of days of the email.
Doctor of credit forum is pretty good for getting data points on US card and bank deals….
wait 24 hrs for the email and No is the answer to ur passport related question.Got the Chase letter and called to verify. Answered the 2 random questions, and then was told they would send an email asking me to upload further documents to verify identity - waiting on the email but they suggested something like a bank statement or passport.
Anyone had to do this? Will submtiting an Aussie passport trigger any alarm bells?
Was great - I have applied and filled in forms quickly - now just the waiting gameHow did you go with this?
I emailed them and they said I could apply.

Remember 5/24 count is cards on your credit file, not applications.I'm now at 3/24 so will be careful about any further applications.
There are plenty of DPs of Chase approvals taking longer than usual at the moment — up to 10-12 days. No idea why.Any DPs on how long it's taking nowadays?
I think I've gone a little bonkers with the US CC apps. I got an email about the Apple card. I don't rate it at all but figured as it has no AF, it's one I could keep for the long term to help my FICO. Application was very simple. I got through it in less than a minute and got immediately declined. I used my Sarasota address but an email I got back said the address didn't match what was on my credit file.
I called the number in the email and the operator said there was nothing she could do and there wasn't a recon line or anything. I was welcome to try again and apparently, many people need to apply 3 times or more to get an approval.
I'm posting about my experience to warn anyone else who has even a remote inkling of interest in this card to avoid it - high risk of a declined application and reduction of 5/24 capacity. AVOID - YMMV. I'm now at 3/24 so will be careful about any further applications.
CSP application is in the "final stages" of consideration. Any DPs on how long it's taking nowadays? I'm used to getting a response straight away but know that's not always the case esp if trying to do it this way.
Did AMEX ask for any supporting documents to be submitted by fax / post?Apparently people are getting confirmation email for welcome bonus within few days of qualifying DD followed by posting cash deposit within few couple of days of the email.

Did you apply direct to the IRS, or through an Acceptance Agent? My ITIN application was through EIN Express and I did not need to send my passport away. EIN Express emailed me a copy of the IRS approval letter.Hoping for some advice from the brains trust here. I applied for an ITIN at the end of June, was granted one at the start of September, but am yet to see either the ITIN confirmation letter or my passport. Does anyone know roughly how much longer I should be waiting? Getting somewhat anxious as I have a couple of overseas trips coming up shortly.
Timeline:
30 June: ITIN application and passport sent
8 July: package delivered to Austin Texas
1 September: ITIN granted (I called in mid September and was informed of this)
