Strategy to obtain US Amex

Chase 120k SUB Ink Business Premier ($95 annual fee) now live.

I've got a Chase Marriott Bonvoy Boundless approximately 2 months ago.
As of now 14 months of credit history with Chase Private Client checking and savings, should I wait for couple more months or apply for it now?

Thanks

Finally got the amex green card after a long and involved process. Just trying to set up alerts on my amex account. To set up the alerts in your settings you have to reply to an amex verification text message. I have a talkatone VOIP number. I can recieve the amex verification texts but get an error message when trying to reply to the short code message from amex with Yes. Does anyone know how to get around this? Should I just ring in to amex usa to get the alerts set up?

Textnow worked for me (some time back). Have you tried that?

Is there a direct link to the offer?
When I log in and go to Business credit cards, I get an "Offer no longer available" after clicking on the Ink Preferred card!

Give it a few hours to a day and try again. Offer only went live today. Links are probably being updated atm.

Seen TextNow and Talkatone mentioned. What other good options are there?

Tello is good because it works as a eSIM with wifi calling. I've read it has good acceptance with some of the stricter issuers (if you're thinking to expand past Amex in future)

Was this your first GT ? Mind sharing what the issues were ?
Was asked for address verification via bank statement when applying via GT. Since I didn’t want to go the hsbc premier route and tie up $9k I flew to the states (using points, tried out Polaris which was nice but clearly a lot of miles and points people in their J cabin) stayed with family and opened a couple of bank accounts (not for the faint hearted as they ask you what visa you are there on etc - not quite as straight forward as people make out on here. They also ask for your home address so if you got into one of those three way address verification phone calls the banker could say to amex what your real home address is). Amex wanted 30 days of transactions so had to wait for the debit card to come, make some purchases and then wait for a bank statement. Uploaded it and was accepted. There’s no way round this and it appears to me that amex are wanting address verification via bank statement increasingly. So those data points you see on here where people got GT automatically approved are not as common as a couple of years ago. Clearly what I did is not an option for everyone but I had the time to do this.

Thanks. Just seeking clarification, were you also able to send a reply to the short code text with tello?
Also just wondering, I use my eSIM for my home mobile number. Is it possible to have more than one eSIM running on your iPhone?

If your phone supports dual eSIM like an iPhone 14, yes you can run both numbers at the same time.

If not (iPhone 12 is dual SIM but has to be eSIM and physical SIM) you can switch to your US number prior doing any verification process (login, online purchase, etc) and then switch back to your AUS numbe.r

This thread got so many pages. Tried reading pages but information and people experience is so scattered in different threads.

Can someone kindly directs me to the method which works as of 2024? I'm living in australia and looking to start building US credit score from scatch and ultimately apply for amex US.
currently a amex business platnium holder.
