Ah ok. So even for tap and pay of large amounts it will never ask for a pin?So I have somewhere to receive mail/bills/somewhere to stay when I am present.
Heaps of people own overseas property...

They'll send you a cash advance PIN (or you can view online, I think), but you don't need it - US cards are still signature remember.
I’m having that problem now to get the Premier CC. So I’ve given up. HSBC has served its main purpose for me (to get my Amex). I will use it to pay off credit card bills but if they close it no loss as I have other options (like Wise)Thanks that's a good idea; only risk being they then ask for a utility bill from the address with my name on it - which would come full circle really in terms of why we all use HSBC !!!
I had planned on putting down that it was my sister's address (which is the truth) where I stay when visiting, but I don't know if they would consider that acceptable...
Yeah ok. I did say to the chat person she doesn’t have one and will not have one. She said okI believe you can msg to provide passport details instead.

They’re now saying the can’t change the name without US issued ID confirming the ‘new’ name! WTAFGee i must have got a real dumb agent when adding the supp card! My partner has no middle name, but her surname consist of three separate names (Brazilian).
So i told them this when adding :
First Name xx_xx_
Surname xx_x xx_ xx_xx
I figured i couldn’t be clearer.
But guess what has ended up on the card?
xx_x Surname xx_x xx_xx
I kid you not - they actually printed Surname on the card in between the first name and the first 2 parts of the last name!
Do you need the name to match? They’re now saying the can’t change the name without US issued ID confirming the ‘new’ name! WTAF
Just signed up for an ITIN with them. Painless automated process so far and a very reasonable price. I'll report back when I have a result in a couple months.
I just added a 3rd card with the right details and will cancel the SURNAME one when it arrives.Do you need the name to match?
Did the chat person say anything else, like upload a passport or other form of ID? The app says if you don't provide a SSN/ITIN then after 60 days the card will be cancelled.Yeah ok. I did say to the chat person she doesn’t have one and will not have one. She said ok
So, pretty much as expectedJust received my ITIN today with Maza. It took 11 weeks from the day it was submitted!
It doesn't ask for that level of detail. For those with Chase Ink cards, do you say your business is in the USA? Or have you tried putting an Aussie based business on the app? Like an AirBnB or something?
AFAIK this is the same for all business cards - They want: Mailing address, EIN. You can get an EIN for any company, incl. a foreign one, from the IRS in a 5 min phonecall. For those with Chase Ink cards, do you say your business is in the USA? As a sole proprietor, you don't need an EIN to apply for a biz card, do you?AFAIK this is the same for all business cards - They want: Mailing address, EIN. You can get an EIN for any company, incl. a foreign one, from the IRS in a 5 min phonecall.
I have an SSN and apply as a sole proprietor. But I was thinking to put the Aussie address as my AirBnb. I have a long standing relationship with Chase. I am a bit worried that I am pushing the upwards limits of how much credit they will give me. I would use that Ink Unlimited as partial payment for a car and take advantage of 1 year 0% to pay it off (with the bulk in cash/equiv). So basically with the forex 3% it's a one year car loan at 3% that gives 90k UR.AFAIK this is the same for all business cards - They want: Mailing address, EIN. The field doesn't even take an Australian address. You need to apply using your US address.I have an SSN and apply as a sole proprietor. But I was thinking to put the Aussie address as my AirBnb. They don't check what sorts of expenses you put on the card.Out of curiosity, with regards to business credit cards, do the transactions strictly have to be business related ? Or you can use the cards to buy groceries, and other personal expenses ?
