The first time it was actually iBKR’s fault - funds showed as available for withdraw before T+3 (they normally show as unavailable), so I thought they must have processed it super quickly
This most recent time was my fault - I misread my balance as it shows a ‘Total cash’ amount which is actually in primary currency (AUD), not USD
Anyway, even if I did wear both $29 charges, it’s still cheaper than Wise !
Particularly if you set up direct debit from Amex card to the iBKR US account. Unlike with ACH, there is no monthly limit/fee

Did you have an application rejected under these circumstances but then approved 30+ days later ?
Im looking at Nova Credit maybe for an Amex card, if the AUS amex still doesnt work...I cant find the Hilton aspire . Just me or not available for everyone?
Anyone with the Amex Biz Platinum that has used the DELL credit successfully? Just tried to order some SSD's to my myUS address and they have cancelled my order twice.

I was approved for the C1 SavorOne card and just received it in the mail today. When I went to activate the card both in the C1 app and online, it requested that I call their card activation number to finish my activation.
When I called, they stated that I had to provide ALL of the following documents for my card to be activated:
To finish processing your recent request, we need some supporting documents:
State Government-Issued ID/Driver's License - one image of the front and one image of the back
Social Security Card - one image of the front of the card
Proof of Residence - must clearly show your account information including account number and address; and must be less than 60 days old
Bank Statements
The customer service agent was eluding to the fact that I need to send all docs requested in.
I've already sent through my AU passport and ITIN to get the card approved.
I've sent through my AU passport and ITIN again, along with my last 2 BofA bank statements showing my current address. I'll let you know of the outcome.
I submitted the above ID documents to C1 and called their fraud line to see if they received them. The agent I spoke with confirmed the docs were received but stated that she needs four months' worth of bank statements (which I provided) and that it's unlikely that my AU passport will be accepted as it's not a State-issued ID or DL. I was advised that they would call me back.
So it's not looking good. For anyone worried about the Chase 5/24 rule, perhaps don't start with C1 as your first card outside the Amex system.

P2 had that issue earlier after getting approved. The fraud team said passport was ok and also said he would leave the note about it in case another agent looked at it later. I guess it depends on who you get. P2 doesn't have a bank statement though. Had to ask them to cancel the card.
