It's going have to be a balance between checking it and making sure you're not getting spammed by the notification. If only there was a way to ping your feed/notification if an admin/mod posts on the page; and not just only friends' notifications. But I could also be silly/blind and not see that option for only alerting certain posts/feeds.

I just go 'referral' and the last post was I think back in September, since then they've transferred to FB Group (I think). So just waiting to get in and play the patience games

One trick I'll add. If you get a very high referral offer on any of your Amex cards, submit it to Frequent Miler when they ask for them on their website (you submit via their Facebook page). If your referral offer is used, you'll easily max out your annual referral cap.

Does Hilton Surfers Paradise still sell voucher directly? Was supposed to use Aspire credit at Conrad bali but decided to go somewhere else. I guess the one selling online now won't code as Hilton. Or any new ideas on using the credit?

Hilton Surfers Paradise allow advance pre-payments on bookings if you plan a stay, call and they send a link to pay that triggers the resort credit.

Coded as the actual Hilton hotel initially.

Currently trying out the accommodation gift cards, will get back to this later in the week.

Coming back to this one now, bought an accommodation gift card ($250) and transaction came through the same way. Zero catches. Credit came 3-4 days later.

Noting the 2% surcharge also applies to gift card purchases (same as the hotel).

Resort Credit all used for the first half of the year.

In regards to using the Aspire credit for future stays I tried to click on the link on Hilton Website - https://www.buyhiltongiftcards.com/ but message stated 'not available in your region' - don't have VPN to try to bypass this. Any DP's on whether it's possible with VPN to buy hilton gift cards for resorts overseas such as Tokyo Bay Resort of Hilton Okinawa. Otherwise the pre-pay option mentioned here would be a good option but then I would need stay dates in advance.

I don't think that triggers the Aspire credit but Surpass. No email delivery though so it needs to be shipped to somewhere in the US. People have been buying $50 + $1.95 shipping quarterly on Surpass.

It did in the past. I haven't checked any new data points for quite some time though so better to check them.

From Googlefu skills many overseas hiltons do trigger the aspire credit on online prepaid rates. Hilton Tokyo Bay comes up a lot as an example. Apparently international Hiltons are set up differently in the back end? Or something like that.
