Strategy to obtain US Amex

Question regarding ABP please, hoping to use the Priority Pass benefit but reading the letter came with the card, my understanding is that I just can use for myself, extra guests US$35/pp. Basically it's not good use for my family then. Am I reading it right? And I cant use it in Amex Centurion lounge either. Not until I spent 75K/year. Am I right?

If i keep my Home address as my main address (a family member in US) and change Mailing to PlanetExpress will that mean my Home is what counts for FICO/score purposes, and any junk mail they send will go to PE?

Also where would any new/replacement cards be sent?

I do the same
I get all mail at my mailing address (PE) for you
My original went to my home but replacement bee would go to mailing for me

Yep ok - I think thats what I’ll do then - i think partners sister is getting sick of how many cards are turning up - but I don’t want to mess with address on credit file.

credit file will just keep adding addresses - I have about 4 on mine now - It will all work out

Is there any danger it’s upgrading the chase freedom unlimited card to CSP and then downgrading back to freedom unlimited 3 months later when the AF is charged ?

Just got a Amex 50K business checking offer - have seen that there have been 70K ones floating around - anyone got one before or know of any links? Unsure of should wait for a 70K offer or just settle for 50

Did this come by email? i signed up with a 70 but it said no way and gave me 30

so if you can get the 50 I would.

I keep receiving "did your card arrive yet" emails for my original card at regularly scheduled intervals. I am already using my replacement card.

Safe to ignore these emails?

Did you mean found a 70 one, signed up thinking it was 70 but then only got 30 (or were told you were not eligible for 70 so took the 30 one)

They told me during the app process that I was no longer eligible for 70. And offered to continue with 30. Free points anyway so I did. Had a lower hold requirement from memory. $5k 3 months

No I never "received" the original card, I got a replacement card sent to Australia. But the emails keep asking me if I have "received" the original card.

Agent said that they cancelled the original card when they sent the replacement, but I also keep getting marketing emails for the original card

EDIT: I'm assuming that this hasn't happened to anyone else? Full paranoia onset soon - I bet Amex will say something like "YoUr SuB wAs FoR tHe OrIgInAl CaRd"

Welcome to the game where anxiety and paranoia is part of the game . I'm sure it'll be fine. If you're concerned just contact Amex via chat and ask them to confirm. It shouldn't be a problem and isn't card dependent for the SUB.
