Strategy to obtain US Amex

1 AUD = 0.5780 USD

I have a brand new AMEX Biz Gold card. Have a decent size bill with the ATO and was going to use that to hit the min spend requirement for the bonus points. Already hold an Amex Biz Plat and couple other cards.

How should I best make the payment - just concerned about a FR. Could I do it in smaller chunks ~5k USD and pay that off spread out over a few days?

Still new and my limited experience - I have a 19 month history and got a ABG and ABP in last 3 months - my family are paying some ATO bills to help me get a SUB and my initial payments of Gold were in chunks of 2-5K. My ABP, family went a paid a super bill via SBClearing House of 8K US as first payment - was expecting issue but no problems so far.
