Strategy to obtain US Amex

will this count towards my 5/24
For Capital ones. Business charge cards are not counted and business credit cards are counted. If the business spark 2X is a credit card then it'll be counted towards the 5/24.

The venture x business definitely isn't counted as it is a charge card with no specified credit limit.

Has anyone gotten declined when applying for their first AMEX card using Nova? I got auto declined with the reason "We were unable to get your consumer credit score from the agency(ies) listed at the end of this letter." The agencies listed at the bottom were US Experian and LexisNexis.

I tried phoning the number on the letter (1-800-222-8416) and the first person to pick up told me that using Nova still required a US credit history. Tried HUCA and the next person told me that the system declining the application would mean my Nova file was insufficient (it has a few years history)

P2 went through Nova about 2 months ago - first two times on same day was rejected because couldn't grab an Australian credit file (the passport and ID didn't automatically work)
Got a Equifax subscription for the month from Australia and checked to make sure her ID and Passport matched and redid the next day and during the Nova Application could see it grab the Australian Equifax report and convert it into a "US style report" - this could be downloaded as a copy and could see it all go through to Amex

If you didn't get a copy of this report maybe try what we did and see if helps

Has an interim bank statement from hsbc worked recently with Amex ? Has anyone used planet express for application without them picking up its a mail forwarding address ? Any data points ?
Also is it still possible to have first card replacement redirected to Oz after verifying details of original card ?

Is there a rule with regard to minimum time before making a fresh application for same Amex card while previous application is still pending and undecided ?

I'm fairly certain that they specifically say "Please do not apply again while this application is under review" after you submit your application

To quote @DC3, Patience Grasshopper ?

Is there a way to have the application withdrawn ? My friend is no longer at The address previously used .

if you have a bank statement with the address you want to use just ask them to update it on the app. I had my address updated although it was the line 2 part not the physical address eg i put PMB xx_X and had it updated to APT xx_X to match my bank statement.

I seem to recall that you had already had a swag of cards over the past several years. Maybe I’ve got you mixed up with another AFFer?

I have the best Nova story

I ticked the nova box

I was told I didn't tick the nova box and it would be assessed with my credit history. (Amex reps who aren't on the fraud line are just as badly trained as QF offshore staff. They make things up)

I was approved anyway with 0 credit history. Gave my ITIN and it worked. None of the Nova stuff that everyone else had to do.

Honestly if you have nothing else to lose anyway, try just applying for whatever card you want with an ITIN. If you get rejected you don't lose anything else.
