Strict enforcement of cabin baggage policy by Qantas on my flight last night

While enforcing this policy so that ALL passengers have their fair share of o/h locker space, why not also get airline staff to remove their stuff (including kitchen items, first aid kits etc) from o/h lockers (especially around 1A on o/s 737).

And where might they put that stuff? It is in the cabin o'head lockers because there isn't room for it anywhere else!

At BNE international this morning the check-in agent insisted in weighing my carry-on bag, and at 9.1kg there was not way she was going to allow me to no have it checked. It was within physical dimentions (I know because I took a tape measure and the max dimensions from the QF web site with me when I bought it), but 9.1kg was more than 7kg, so it had to be checked.

This is all very trivial.

If you want to be serious about size/weight, all pax should be weighed and measured. And anyone over the limit should be denied boarding. Would save heaps in fuel alone.

And who would decide what the limits are. Me, of course.

And you think I'm not serious...

Yes all fatties get the train!!
