Agree! But then I haven't had an offer for ages in 20 flights though about 50% were neighbour free.

This is on a 737. Last time I flew SYD-CBR on a 737, the CSM served everyone a drink with a bag of Santos nuts/pretzels and then had to prepare the cabin for landing!

Saw this thread and thought I'd check to see what the upgrade is on my upcoming flight back to SYD (from MEL), had a good chuckle:


Obviously that's way too much for an upgrade (particularly on a narrow body). If I wanted to spend that kind of money, I would've bought the business fare outright!

My last SYD-CBR in J was on the 717 a few months ago, and came with a rather delicious spinach and feta quiche Definitely not worth the upgrade cost though!
