TG business from London and Frankfurt usually shows up 7 days prior to departure. First availability seems to open up 5-6 days
You can check availability using United's booking tool (requires free membership). If United shows connecting flights, you can then search LM sector by sector for the same flights.
You don't need to be a member of United MileagePlus to search for award availability on the United website. You'll be prompted to log in, but you don't have to.

Rejoice MEL_Traveller.....I’m seeing wide open J and F availability from BKK to FRA/MUC etc in Jan 20 and also J seats to PER/MEL etc....looks like covid-19 is having an impact...Darn! I thought it was going to be a 'availability's back!' post
It seems that TG is roughly - give or take - opening inventory around three months before. Searching BKK-MEL for example the availability drops off on 12 April.
Jan 20, you have a Tardis?I’m seeing lots of TG MEL-BKK J availability in Jan 20....haven’t checked other months though....
Jan 20? Do you mean Jan 2021?Rejoice MEL_Traveller.....I’m seeing wide open J and F availability from BKK to FRA/MUC etc in Jan 20 and also J seats to PER/MEL etc....looks like covid-19 is having an impact...
I have been looking for flights over the next few months to see what is going on and I couldn't find many at all, (from/to Mel) given we all thought they were releasing seats up to 3 months out. I even looked from/to Sydney and that was worse in Bus class, i found a few first class but it was only ever 1 seat. I thought maybe with the Coronavirus they might want to fill up seats but alas not many at all..... i really hope you are right about seats being available from Jan next year, maybe, just maybe Lifemiles is not deadI’m seeing lots of TG MEL-BKK J availability in Jan 20....haven’t checked other months though....

Looks like Thai's revenue booking calendar is only up to the start of Feb now (it's presumably whichever GDS the 330-day airlines use), so that may not be diagnostic for later dates. It could be that availability will open up shortly for early Feb 2021.OK had a chance to check availability more thoroughly today and see that TG have lots of J and F to Europe and J to Aus in Jan 2021, but if you go either month of that its back to nothing again.....got exited initially as had thought they'd turned the taps on again, but just a teaser...
MEL, SYD, BNE & PER all reduced to 3 x weekly from March 29th.Looks like TG has pulled a lot of inventory on the MEL route - and perhaps others, haven't checked. They were working to a two-month window for forward bookings from today (so availability was fairly wide open from May). Now there is nothing at all except in economy.
