How about Franklin's no frills airline I, sure met cash might give then there old uniforms as well.lol

Will be a complex issue to give it a new name, a lot of the things that come to mind, seriously, the name has been used or has connotations to prior airlines.
AusAir, (Australian Airlines)
TransAustAir, (Trans Australia Airlines)
They can't use Compass or Ansett, PS did say he would keep the AOC of Tiger, but Bain probably wouldn't use that, and they under JH would probably let the AOC of Tiger lapse, in the new management system.
BainCorpAirlines? Sounds too much like Bangkok Air.
AirAust (sounds too close to a previous SA (South Aust) airline called Airlines of South Aust, very small, I think it died in the 1990s.
Corporate Australia Airlines? Nak, too complex.
Wait and see I guess.

EZ OZ. Like Easyjet budget airlines pronounced Easy Oz.
Based on the latest inputs and updates about the reduced offering from Virgin Australia and the issues with Sir Branson on Virgin branding , I guess the current owners will rebrand the airline's name as BAA .

Throw in your innovative hat and suggest some funny ( not so ) names for the VA--> LCC option.

Or for budget air just put in dots so ....
V.I.R.G.I.N.
"Save some money"
Now that's budget

**u*** I would probably get banned if I typed the full wording, but I might my self done for, for daring to type that.
No, that can't do/isn't acceptable.
Budget Airways, but that can't do either, as the car rental has that one taken already, as is Eurocar.
Australia Aviation Services? But then, there is a website by that name already, an airline travel forum too.
Echidna Airlines of Australia.
Edit, hmm, aah, bugga, that one's taken too.
