I'm a maybe and need to check as I could be in Brisbane that weekend. Juddles I’ve lived in Noosa for over 30 years and if it works out would be happy to show you around. There are some great restaurants along the river at Noosaville and of course there is always Hastings street if your'e happy to pay the extra $$$ and put up with the crowds.

There are early 5PM ish...Sunsets across the river at the moment which are spectacular! Don't get there too late! might drop in myself!

Can newbies attend? When in Australia I generally stay in Maroochydore, and I just happen to be in town on the 25th... Would be delighted to buy the thread starter "juddles"? a drink. from what I have read, a Jack might satisfy...?

Absolutely. You are officially an AFFer so definitely meet the criteria for attendance.Just confirm that you will definitely be there so the booking can be made.

Thank you all for your welcome!
drron. I will definitely be there! Confirmed. Look forward to it!

Everyone,

I will be fairly busy for the next couple of weeks but come early June will start working out the nitty gritty.

Awesome that there are some keen people :)

Juddles, I previously said a maybe for me, but now I am a yes.

Stoneman, I am away until 15 June. PM me with your address and I can pick you up on 25th to go to Noosa.

Everything I have found on Hastings St is overrated... If there is some where actually worth of what they charge happy to give it a g

Let's keep venue at Noosa Boathouse please - everyone has a favorite, but it gets too difficult to change :)

My interest in this is meeting fellow AFF'ers, not finding the BEST Noosa experience.

Looking forward to seeing everyone... The company for the night is more important than the food for the night for me...

Am I too late to put my hand up for myself and +1?

Hoping to get some interest and finally meet some AFF people - so far the only one I have met is JohnM, and I am sure others would not wish to be judged by that ;)

I have just seen this!:oops::p.

I should probably add my +1 :)

And don't let Rebecca miss out... ;):p:mrgreen:.

Dang, I'm travelling to SYD on Sunday 26 June en route JNB on Tuesday 28th for a little S Africa/Madagascar/Botswana/Zimbabwe rubber-necking.

Have a little detour on Monday 27th to the Hunter Valley to scope out my Sept-Nov house-sitting gig for Bindibuys . Might have to arrange an eastern meet-up sometime in that period ;).

Unfortunately Mrsmajor and I arrive back from Tas that evening and will be unable to join you.

Hopefully next time

Enjoy the night

All,

I have made a booking at the Boathouse restaurant for the evening, but I am still overseas. The Sunset Bar on the top deck I believe does not take bookings, but we can gather there prior to dinner. If I could get an update regarding numbers that would be great :)

Cheers,
Judd.
