We used to get the "plane spotter package" for $253, booking 3-4 months out (for our annual long holidays in 2017 and 2018). That included $50 F&B credit and the runway view. Just checked for 4 March, same package is $409!

Sorry, yeah, that was my point. I wouldn't pay over $250/$275 for a room there. I can get a car service from the Southern Highlands for less than what they charge for a room anymore at Rydges.

Because they don't take phone bookings anymore best option is to join their loyalty program before booking. I paid $200 in November.

The current price I can get for August is $241. From the reviews it just seems to be tge only truly quiet hotel in the area

We stayed at the Novotel again Thursday night and once again very good. We don’t bother going anywhere else anymore
