SYD-CNS frequency changes?

So I am literally in the process of organising flights SYD-CNS about an hour ago and some flight options simply disappeared. Not the flight was full because all fare classes were available, but these flights merely disappeared as being an option, ie 2.15pm SYD-CNS on 26/02 is no longer an option. Is anyone aware of VA cutting their flight frequency on this route? Flights were for late February.

VA (and QF) does occasionally cancel flights several weeks out if the loads are looking very low. It's happened to me before on the CBR-MEL route and I was moved to the next flight.

I found out last month a BNE-SYD flight I had booked in December departing 29 February was cancelled and I was moved to the flight an hour earlier which I preferred but had been more expensive...

Yeah it was just weird because I was on the phone with VA to confirm something about the flights I wanted, went back to their website and they had disappeared. Probably good that it happened before I actually booked as I don't have the hassle now and reorganising my schedule
