I have a business trip to Helsinki mid-May. Will only be there a couple of days so looking to get some comfort to minimise the pain. OneWorld is my preference, but can consider others. AY is most obvious but looking for other ideas.

[This isn't really the right forum for this question.]

The Finnair/QF combination is the obvious choice. SYD-HEL-SYD would be around $6000 in Business (with Australia-Asia legs on Qantas). That's not bad, but I also notice that BKK-HEL is around $2700 return in J. So there are some savings to be had by buying separate tickets.

Japan Airlines is doing Premium Economy SYD-HEL-SYD for around $3,407 with one stop in Tokyo, although the Tokyo stopovers are quite long.

Or make your own way to BKK however u like (JQ etc) and fly BKK to HEL in J (generally very very agreeable)
