SYD showers for VA domestic pax.

Does the VA domestic terminal in SYD have any publicly (free) available shower facility? Asking for a friend not travelling with me.

Seems hard to find the answer on the SYD airport website but some older tripadvisor threads indicate there have been in the past.

What's the current situation?

I did find this optimistically named SYD page Toilets & Shower Facilities at Sydney Airport Domestic Terminal 2 which fails to give any indication on showers. It could be correct in that there are not any shower facilities.

There's showers in T1 and T3 (although I'm not sure if they're open at present) but I don't believe are any public showers in T2. The VA lounge showers were also still closed last time I was in there two weeks ago.

Bit late in my reply, but from my many walks in and around SYD T2, even from AN days, there were not any free showers there.
VA lounges if course, but free as in not VFF status/lounge member, no.
