SYD-SIN-HK via SQ Suites - what benefits can I get?

Just thinking about the SYD - SIN - HKG, if I wanted a stop over for a few days in SIN is that more points? Do I search for SYD-SIN and then SIN HKG?
NO just search SYD-SIN for the day you want to fly there - then search SIN-HKG for the day you want to continue on - then call SQ/KF call ctr and see if they can marry the sectors. Even if you can see both flts available on the day you desire there is still a chance that KF rep will not be able to marry the sectors to complete the rdpt - I have had this numerous times but most times it can be achieved.
points remain the same. Saver award ticket , you can have ONE free stop over. any additional stop over cost $100 SGD I think.
According to T's & C's there is NO FREE Stopover on o/w rdpts - there is ONE FREE Stopover on ret rdpts.

Some AFFers have posted they have received FREE Stopover on o/w rdpts - I never have - I have had dozens of stopovers on o/w rdpts but always had to pay USD100 for them.

Thanks cruiser.

Is availability a bit like QF in that the earlier the request the better to get the sectors to marry?

Absolutely - well maybe - well not always. Rdpt availability is a weird beast controlled by even weirder beasts A.K.A. yield management team - they live in a strange little world where mortals are forbidden - they have an amazing ability to baffle all others - but they are the ones who release rdpt inventory - shop early is still the best rule.

Can J class child get one of those teddy's? :)

Im pretty sure you can. SQ lady are very generous :) If they run out of teddy bear, they might give you something else. I was given Disney pencil colours for drawing.

How the hell do you keep inside the lines with a skinful of Taittinger Prelude in J? Or Krug in F?

Thanks. Another question if wife, 5 year old daughter and MIL is in J and I am in F/R can I bring my daughter with me during the flight for a meal or my wife in F/R?

Just find it too hard to get 4 J seats instead of 1 F/R and 3 J seats on the same flight lol. Good excuse?

Almost certainly the answer will be 'no'. SQ is not particularly big on visits at any time, let alone during a meal service.

Nothing to stop you asking, but as they say... 'refusal offend offends'. You are of course free to visit family/MIL/daughter in business class. The crew won't buy the excuse... they know there are plenty of revenue seats in business class if you wanted to buy them :)

Thanks for the tip. I will try for 4J but if not will need to do 1 F/R Saver and 3 X J savers.

You can completely swap the F seat with either your wife or MIL. Just let the crew know on boarding that you wish to change seats and they'll make a note of it.

ok thanks. Now to decide if I can sacrifice an A380 for the 777-300 and 77W. Are there any new F's running on this route?
I'm flying SYD-SIN-HKG vv
