Running late as usual. The bus that was going to central is actually going to circular quay. What is the name of the pub again?

That's was a very enjoyable night or guessing answers. Finished mid-field, not bad for a team of 4. score:54 winners on 74, second last on low 30s. Thanks everyone.

Really need a few more brains for next time.

Yeah thanks guys. Enjoyable night and possibly get a chance to do it again some time. And yes, we need to fill out the ranks further with additional members to the brains trust.

Sorry I missed it, noticed it too late. I'll be in it next time so that should cover any questions we get on the Swiss Navy or the Dutch Mountain Rescue Service.:)

Wow... How did I miss this event?!
Was in the city doing nothing from 6.30pm onwards.... :( I should check my script and make sure my eyes are seeing everything when I read the social get together threads.

You could also just open the meetings & social events board whenever you are online... easiest way to keep track of events.

FWIW, it would be nice if there was a shared google cal or something available, but I doubt its compatible with the software, so would be a manual update.

I don't frequent FT often, though I noticed they have a Calendar-layout page for Lounge meet-ups and social events. Doesn't this site have a calendar page for birthdays? Couldn't a similar one be made for social events and/or Lounge meetups? Save having to scroll through pages of posts (or people having to provide a summary which is periodically updated...?)

It does, however it is up to members to update in conjunction with posting new events. I am not very good at that, so will do better in the future.

So when is the next one?

Good question. It is a weekly trivia night on Wednesday. I'm pretty much able to commit to attending in most Wednesdays. But it's up to the availability of others as a critical mass of brains is required for these things.

This link could be reposted in each of the Social event threads to help remind/refer people to it... Is samh004, as social coordinator, able to consider this? (I'll PM the suggestion when I get time later).

I do check the social events board when I'm online. Just somehow I completely missed this one....

I almost exclusively use the app so I really need to see the post. As it was, I was in transit from MEL - SYD on VA869 so I missed events in both MEL & SYD on the same night!
