I’m taking flight SQ222 to Singapore then changing to flight SQ378 which stops first in Milan, one hour stopover then on to Barcelona.
The flight number is the same for both parts of the Singapore to Milan then Milan to Barcelona. Does anyone know what the go is with this? Do we disembark and then re-board?

I've asked my friend who works for SQ as an A350 Captain and will report back once I hear from him wherever in the world he is now...

As confirmed by my friend the SQ Captain who operated the flight just yesterday - "This is your Captain speaking. All Barcelona bound passengers are to remain on board during our short transit in Milan... Thank you!"

You normally stay on board at Mxp...except our ongoing plane to Bcn went tech at Mxp. Fortunately, they fixed the problem and we reboarded from a cold sterile gate area at Mxp.
