I have to visit Bourke NSW for about 6 hours of work in the next few weeks, and I thought that with Bourke being on the larger country towns in NSW that they would have a commercial carrier that flies into there. It would appear I was wrong, and the only carrier I have been able to find is Brindabella which flies into Cobar, and then I would need a hire car for the 2hr drive north. They have a morning and evening flight into/out of Cobar, so would probably fly up on the evening flight, stay overnight, early drive to Bourke..do the work and get back to Cobar for the evening flight back to Sydney. I know I can fly into Dubbo, but that would leave me with a long drive.

Does anyone know of any other way to get from Sydney to Bourke (not driving) Thanks

Yeah I know its rubbish isn't it? If your trip is soonish - I wouldn't necessarily garuntee that the roads would be open anyway due to the amount of rainfall and flooding reported further upstream from Bourke.
