I did try the trick as to what Defurax mentioned.
The first time I tried last night, it worked, was able to go back to 2013, then after that, it didn't.
Then, after that, the activity statement came up with a new one, bold red words, "Activity Statement", and the string at the top after https://www now does not show dates, either statement date, or from date or to date of statement.
And I can go back to 2013 as I was able to do, the first time I tried last night.
The new statement layout, is fixed too, last 13 months only.

There are two spots in the URL that need changing - one is monthXX Year, then later in the string is the dates to and from.
