Hi Folks

Have to book a quick trip to Singapore in May - and was keen to understand the best value options... had previously flown QF Premium Econ but it seems to no longer exist on those legs ( probably just news to me)

Trying to balance out the comfort, safety, cash see-saw.....

Many thanks

You wedded to QF / OW, or would you consider any carrier?
Also after direct flights only, or would consider a connecting flight?

If you want Premium Economy BA still fly the route. Most here will tell you it's not as good as QF but it's an option.

SQ will be launching PE later this year and will be flying to SYD in August, so too late for your trip. Also it's likely to be more expensive than other options.

Some people would recommend Scoot "business class" as an option.

Not or wedded to anything but safety. Then comfort but all at good price. Prefer QF but direct(fast) is key....

thanks

From what's I've heard, if you use Scoot "business class" and expect a business class product, you'll be disappointed. If you go in there with the knowledge it's a class nicer than economy, for a price about on par with Y on other carriers then you'll be pretty happy.

Qantas has some sales at the moment, so for around $600 return, that would be very good value if you have OWE status.

I was actually thinking about booking Scoot when I needed a one-way flight back in September. Pretty good price and the luggage includes as many bags as you can fit into the allowance you purchase which is perfect for luggage and golf clubs.
