Talking in the men's room.

I find it slightly unnerving, but I don't mind taking a passive role in a conversation (e.g. I do not initiate). I find that anything more than responding with Uh-huh's is stretching it a little for me, and chances are i'm not listening anyway.

I find that straight guys at straight bars tend to be more vocal (especially after a few drinks) whereas gay guys at gay bars tend to talk with their eyes rather than their mouths

And this information was acquired how?

If it doesn't matter if you win or lose.......How come they keep score?

Heaven knows why anyone would take a call 'on the can'.

Mind you, I must admit to a small guilty pleasure from the days when video calling was first introduced. To demonstrate the pointlessness of the technology, I made a point of video calling friends to share with them the sound and sights of a flushing toilet bowl.

Juvenile yes, but their reactions were both hilarious and unpredictable.

Yet five star hotels all seem to have phones by the can

I think gender preference would probably be the link you've missed there ;)

I don't know gender preference had nothing to do with me knowing that was the case ;)

Sent from my iPhone using Aust Freq Fly app so please excuse the lack of links.

This thread has inspired me to change my iphone app sign off.

Maybe I'm just being shy or sensitive. But....

No, never, I'm a grown up, I can handle myself in the bathroom without someone else needing to talk to me.

My uncle used to loudly ask "Is this where the big heads hang out?" when visiting a convenience. Of course, he was a Queensland golden gloves champion so he could back it up, if required.

I like the man, personally when both of my hands are fully occupied I'm not going to talk to you, nor if I am in the cubicle (note I am the first person in this thread to spell it correctly ;) ).

Hvr your new role at AFF could be the start of the "Spelling Police" so we will know whether it is a whizz or a wizz.
i received an email from a 16 year old recently which made me realise that Engish has been downgraded as far as spelling goes.

Doesn't suprise me. Even in these parts people get the wrists slapped for pointing out spelling mistakes
