It has triggered me to think:

After 11 months, sign up for another (suitable) credit card and do a balance transfer.

Suitable = near 0% interest for another six, nine or twelve months.

Any thoughts on this?

Just come from UK

Over there, 0% or low balance transfer fee's were everywhere - I spent about 5 years moving money around from card to card getting the offers - it because hard work - and problem was I was never reducing the debt!!!

Thankfully I managed to get everything paid off before emigrating
