I am attending a sold out event at ANZ Stadium Sydney I am thinking of booking a taxi or a private driver service does anyone have experience or tips with this, I noticed that are a number of roads are closed in the area?

Catch a train ;)

(Disclaimer: I am a train driver)

Out of a taxi or a limo type service, the limo might be a better option. Traffic around Sydney Olympic Park is horrible with major events so a fixed fare limo (probably a higher quality ride, too) would probably work out better than a taxi with the meter ticking.

Try Towncars.com.au
All corporate car services will charge a premium for an event at ANZ. Minimum $100 each way. It's because the car can't do any other jobs while waiting for you. It's a bit of a lock in situation.

So I found out, one quote was for $400
