Taxis At Denpasar Airport Bali.

We were there earlier this year. Hotel transfer had a breakdown in communications and wasn't there to pick us up.

Used one of the many taxi drivers soliciting business. Forget exact amount but wasn't cheap. They were all quoting some ridiculous rate.

I haven't used it myself, but it is possible to use Grab from Denpasar airport now.
They even have a lounge you can wait in to get collected from.

Yes that's the one I used. It does take awhile sometimes for the Grab to arrive because of traffic but at least I had a confirmed price, don't remember exactly but it was reasonable to my hotel which was near Beachwalk Shopping Center. Traffic was horrendous in early evening, took almost an hour to go less than 5 km.

I used booking.com on last visit to Bali in December. $13.20 to BK Village (about 35 mins).

I find booking a Grab far easier and quicker than finding your driver/hotel rep in the usual circus of thousands. (the circus has moved out of this area, but it's still exactly like this)

The one time I did prebook was with Conrad when I had property credit to spend. Was a bit of hassle to find the Conrad rep, only to have to wait another 15 minutes for one of their drivers to show up.

As others have said there's a designated Grab pickup point and waiting lounge. It's closer to the terminal than where the private drivers park.

Have done the Conrad between parents and myself about 10 or 15 times.
Never had to wait or had trouble finding the rep!
