Testing requirements SYD - DXB - ZRH?

Switzerland abandoned any PCR/RAT requirements to enter the country over the weekend. Also, the Emirates webpage does not list any specific testing requirements for transiting from Dubai ex-AUS and transiting to CHE.

Does that mean that I can literally rock up at SYD airport without any test done and they will check me in (and through to ZRH). Has anyone tested this out over the last 3 days?

No actual experience with this but that was my understanding also when I booked my SYD-ZRH flights back in November.
No tests required to leave Aus, no tests required to board EK flights, no testing required for DXB transit, and no testing required for entry to Switzerland from Australia.

@frodo - did you recently travel to Switzerland on EK? If so, can you please confirm that no one asked for any PCR / RAT test? Also, when entering Switzerland, did the “green” AUS vaccination certificate suffice or did you need the international version?

I can answer this question if you like as I flew into Switzerland in early March (albeit via SIN). I was asked for my vaccination certificate by the immigration official in Zurich, and my Australian International COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate was accepted. (The domestic one might not be acceptable.) I was not asked for a Covid test result or anything else. Travelling via DXB, you wouldn't need a test as the government there doesn't require one to transit either.

Late response but basically what Matt said.

For entry into Switzerland, I was asked for proof of vaccination and showed them the Australian international certificate. Not sure if the Australian version would work as I did not try using it, and I would suggest just getting the international version.

For my whole trip, the only test I needed to do was a RAT after returning to Australia as per NSW requirements (although noone would even know if I didn't).

Transiting in DXB was easy, I did not need to show anything during the transit process or for entry into the EK lounge other than passport/boarding pass.

When I checked in tonight, it felt like the good old pre-Covid days. No one asked anything in relation to Covid-19, not even the vaccination certificate. Plenty of people in the plane not wearing masks (maybe they all have exemptions, I didn’t ask).

I just went through immigration (manually processed) in less than 30 seconds. No question raised regarding any vaccination certificate and also no one on the KAPO staff side was wearing a mask anymore.
