posting this here as it will affect both US Airways, Lifemiles AND those holding TG revenue tickets...

Friend flew on the TG462 (midnight departure) MEL-BKK last night, they had the regular angled lie-flats - not full flats as advertised.

Checking flightaware it seems the 773 has been operating the flight most nights recently (with a 772 thrown in a couple of days ago).

The 77W was last seen on 8 June (according to flightaware).

If you are booked and looking forward to a solid sleep on the plane you might be disappointed. Perhaps schedule an afternoon nanna nap at home :)

Other than that, my friend confirms the growing number of recent reports that food and service are going downhill.

Thanks for the info, although in my case if will be the TG461 BKK-MEL flight that is the incoming aircraft for TG462 that affects me. This is a daytime service so less impact

Have been very disappointed with Thai as of this year. Below par service AND food, and a J product that doesn't really have much quality. On TG461 soon, think it will be my last TG trip for a long time...

it certainly isn't worth actual $$ to fly to europe. Angled beds don't really cut it. But they had great availability for star alliance bookings, and at under $3000 all up in First class it was worth it.
