Is it possible to search reward seat availability without having points in my account? I cant seem to make it work and dont want to transfer points until I am sure seats are available

Thai might have additional availability for its own members... you'll only be able to access that through your specific account, or by calling TG reservations.

However for a general clue on availability, you can head to the UA website. Simply select the 'award' button. The UA award search tool is easy to use, open to anyone, no account or points needed.

Mentioning the TG account was only to point out that there may be additional availability over and above what you see on UA.

But UA would be a pretty good (and comprehensive) starting point.
