Thank you Qantas Customer Service - Is this acceptable?

Sorry to read you experienced disappointing service on your recent trip.

You would be surprised what Qantas has to offer when you don't ask for anything.

I would be very surprised but I did once get a $50 gift voucher after the 4 of us travelling were served totally inedible J class meals. The FA on the flight lodged the report and I also lodged a complaint. So QF puts the value of 4 J class meals and 4 very unhappy and hungry customers at $50.

Did you give them back their change from the $50-00?

The value of compensation offered is relative to the ratio of complaints that particular topic received.

If QF only received a handful of complaints each year for a particular service the the compensation might be higher.

The fact that they only offered $50 is purely indicative of the number of complaints they get about catering.

Well Once again I am Humbled

It seems Qantas do really care :o I have just checked both my partners and my account and the flight in question was part of a classic award yet we have both been credited with points and more importantly status credits for the trip.

Qantas I say thank you on behalf of my partner and I.thank you for your compassion and recognition of the 18 years of loyality to Qantas.:) I assure you your actions has cemented this loyality. Stunned and most appreciative :D
